Kyle Anderson

From the start Kyle was “doing” audio. He entered this industry through his involvement in music during his early school years. Kyle owned his own system by jr. high school and he is proud to have paid for it himself. During this time he did audio work for the school, local bands, and other regional events to support his audio habit. Before graduating from high school he was hired by a company a state away, in Olympia, Washington, as a recording engineer. He graduated from high school and soon returned to Oregon. Once back in Oregon, Kyle worked as a paramedic (a brief intermission from the audio industry) and a general contractor, all the while doing audio on the side.
Eventually he left these pursuits to establish Anderson Sound Reinforcement (ASR), which quickly gained a reputation of excellence in the audio industry. ASR specialized in one-offs for local bands as well as national acts. Kyle then co-founded CoStars with Steve Diamond, a company that specialized in sound and acoustic consulting. Shortly thereafter, Pacific Pro Audio, Oregon (PPA) was formed as a sales house to supply clients with the best products at the best prices. Finally, in 2002 Anderson Group International was founded as a conglomerate of ASR, CoStars, and PPA – three companies that had been working in tandem for years.
